The 2006 Regional Conclaves were held in the spring in Toledo Ohio, hosted by the Pi Alpha Chapter. Several brothers represented the Alpha Gamma chapter.
Alumnus Aaron McLean purchased the lot next to the Sigma Pi house and generously donated it to the fraternity.
The brothers worked at Superbowl XL at Ford Field, as well as Hockey Town Café during the weekend to fundraise. Some Money from Super Bowl XL was used to turn the newly acquired lot into a gated parking lot for brothers.
The year’s National convention was held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bryan Vos, Josh Reiter, Alex Gallegos, Joseph Gallegos, and Douglas Biske attended. During the course of 2006, Kevin DeGrood worked to establish the Alpha Gamma Alumni Corporation. The Corporation was able to work out a deal with the McLeans to eventually purchase the fraternity house. Attendance was high at Semi-Formal which was held at Jacks. Samantha Zabo was announced as Kappa Delta Rho’s newest sweetheart.
Facing the loss of six of its members to graduation, the Brothers of K?P held numerous Rush events, including dinners at Xochi’s and BW3’s, Paintball, Bowling, and Ultimate Frisbee. When Rush was concluded, 15 bids were given out resulting in 13 new pledges to K?P. On December 2, 2006 13 new Brothers were initiated into the Fraternity.
